1. Information We Collect
When you sign in with GitHub, Flow collects the following data strictly for the purpose of generating your developer profile:
- Your GitHub username and display name
- Your email address (as provided by GitHub OAuth)
- Your public repository metadata, including names, descriptions, languages, and commit history
- Your profile avatar URL
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used exclusively to power Flow's AI analysis engine. We send repository context (README files, dependency manifests, and commit messages) to our AI provider to generate technical summaries, resume bullets, and interview preparation content. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored beyond what is written to your personal Firestore document.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your GitHub data is transmitted securely to our AI inference provider (NVIDIA NIM) solely for the purpose of generating your profile analysis. No personally identifiable information is included in these API calls.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Your generated projects and profile data are stored in Firebase Firestore. You may delete any or all of your generated projects at any time directly from the Flow Dashboard using the “Delete Draft” button. Upon deletion, the associated data is permanently removed from our database.
5. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, Firebase Authentication, secure HTTP headers (HSTS, X-Frame-Options, X-Content-Type-Options), and server-side token verification for all sensitive operations.
6. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to request data deletion, please reach out via the GitHub repository associated with this project.
